Year started with the Omicron scare and limited number of worshipers attending again, but the fears quickly ended, restrictions dropped and numbers rose.
It looks like this year will be a year of rebuilding and reconstruction!
1998-2010
The Early Years
Doha Fellowship was planted in 1998 by Dave and Cathy Wallen. First two years Church was meeting in private houses, finally to move into the Villa we still occupy today in 2000
Marked a significant year for us at DF as our founders Dave and Kathy Wallen ordained Rob and Hellette to take over the Eldership and leadership of DF.
We also had elders ordained amd apostolic trips to Sri Lanka and Nepal..
We sent our Gavin and Louise to continue on their journey in the apostolic calling over their lives. Apart from our local activities of Nations Day, Kids Christmas we had ordinations.
We had some incredible activities at church Men’s Camp, Ladies event, Nations Day, Half night Prayer and Combined Open Homes along with our first ever IMPACT conference.
We had the opportunity to support the people in Nepal through our church plant to rebuild after the earthquake. Our apostolic trips continued adding new places like Mentenegro.
As we continued to grow, we ordained new elders and deacons into the DF family. Our apostolic trips to Athens meeting refugees was an incredible experience.
As we continued to expand our territories we visited and planted churches in Dubai, Nepal, Themba, Greece, Hungary, Thailand and Nagaland. Celebrated Easter and held our annual Impact conference hosting our partners from across the globe.
The highlight of this year was celebrating 20 years of DF and hosting our biggest ever IMPACT CONFERENCE. We had many events including the Men’s breakfast, family day and apostolic trips to Australia, Cyprus, India, Nepal, Switzerland and Thailand, Zimbabwe and Themba.
2019 was a special year as we hosted many of our DF church planters and our Founder Dave Wallen as well as sent many on apostolic visits to our church plants across the globe including Athens, Themba, Sri Lanka and India.
2020 was a challenging year across the globe and more so for us at Doha Fellowship. We had to shut down our premises completely and operate from our homes.
Inspite of the challenges, in an effort to stay connected as a community we filmed our services remotely from multiple locations.

2021
Being in our DNA to plant and equip, we held an online Church Planters Conference connecting with our partners from across the globe.
We continued recording services remotely in 2021 and redesigned our stage at church. Gradually, we moved from pre-recorded services to live-streaming our 9AM services and as the lockdown relaxed we met in person in small numbers.
